Gloria Whidden

Gloria Whidden, Office Manager

Gloria is the office manager and has been with Emerald Coast Chiropractic since January of 2006.  She has over 20 years experience in office management and customer service with the State of Florida, both in her hometown of Chipley and later in Tallahassee.  Gloria manages scheduling for both Dr. Whidden and the massage therapists, as well as providing information to patients regarding appointments, insurance benefits, billing and collections.  She also assists within the office by developing x-rays and scanning patients for custom orthotics.

Gloria has been an active volunteer with Relay For Life in Chipley & Destin, FL and SOCKS (Save our Cats & Kittens).  She has also recently completed the Okaloosa County CERT (Certified Emergency Response Team) certification course.

Personal testimony:

When I moved here I had been suffering from migraines for several years, sometimes two or three month and losing days of my life with each episode.  When the migraines hit I was unable to work, couldn’t tolerate light or sound, and the pain seemed to wrap around my whole head at times.  I’d tried all kinds of medications, had MRIs and CT scans trying to find the cause, but doctors were unable to find a cause and nothing was helping.  It’s now been over three years since I had even a glimmer of a migraine and I can honestly say I have Dr. Ken and Emerald Coast Chiropractic to thank for it.  I’m amazed at how much my life has changed – being part of an organization that is focused on health and healing, the positive attitudes I’m surrounded by, and the people I come in contact with every day have truly helped heal me.
