Kathy Whidden, CEO

Kathy Whidden, wife of Dr. Ken and CEO of Emerald Coast Chiropractic, grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and attended the University of South Alabama. While living in Biloxi, MS, she worked in retail, restaurants, and casinos. After a variety of career choices spanning from banking to dealing high stakes blackjack, she currently oversees all aspects of our practice, focusing primarily on insurance billing, collections, public relations and marketing.

Kathy is also an affiliate marketer for Attain Response, the Leader in E-mail and Video Communications and has recently been contracted as a lifestyle model with Elite Model Management in Atlanta.

Her hobbies include: softball, volleyball, running, and kettlebell training.

Since moving to Destin, Kathy has been involved with community organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Take Stock in Children, Children’s Advocacy Center, Children in Crisis, Ronald McDonald House, Destin Relay For Life, and the Destin YMCA.

She is currently active serving as a mentor for the Okaloosa County School District, Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Destin, and the Kiwanis Advisor for K-Kids at Destin Elementary School. She is also been trained as an Okaloosa County CERT member (Certified Emergency Response Team).
