J.D. Whidden serves the chiropractic health care needs of the locals and part time residents in the Destin / Santa Rosa Beach / Miramar Beach area and is the full time associate doctor in the Grand Boulevard office in Miramar Beach. He is proficient in a multitude of chiropractic adjusting techniques and other therapeutic modalities that are employed at Emerald Coast Chiropractic. He has been designated a “Rock Doc” due to his post grad education with Rocktape Functional Movement Techniques (FMT), a 2-part kinesiology taping certification led by industry leading experts in movement assessment and therapy.
J.D. is a member of 30-A chapter of BNI (Business Networking International) and is active in both the Destin and Walton Area Chambers of Commerce. He also actively participates in the Young Professionals organizations affiliated withe both chambers.
J.D. joined the staff at Emerald Coast Chiropractic after completion of his post graduate education and is a graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University, and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, GA. He was involved in sports in high school and college and continues to enjoy working out, surfing, golfing and any type of sporting activity. He is currently a resident of Santa Rosa Beach with his wife, Whitney, and their chocolate Lab, Whiskey.
