Education & Background
Dr. J.D. Whidden joined the team at Emerald Coast Chiropractic after completing his postgraduate training. A proud graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. His lifelong involvement in sports — from high school and college athletics through his current active lifestyle — gives him a deep understanding of sports-related injuries and performance needs. In his free time, Dr. Whidden enjoys surfing, golfing, working out, and just about any outdoor sporting activity. He lives in beautiful Santa Rosa Beach with his wife, Whitney.
